Potato and Onion Layer
Chocolate Fudge Cake, made with/out eggs, 32p or 29p a wodge

image Remember these? Had them for dinner this evening with cauli and broccoli today, rather than peas. Lovely on a cold and wet evening, and nice and quick after going to book group this afternoon.
I was sitting close to a very hot log fire at my friends house as we chatted away, made it feel even more cold outside when I left!

We had read I’ll Be There, Holly Goldberg Sloan this month. It’s about Sam, a music genius, his little brother, his appalling Dad who drags them hither and thither, and what happens when he meets Emily. We were split on this one, half of us liked it, and half didn’t. I have read several books I would never have chosen for myself since joining this group. Part of the point I suppose.

We spend a lot more time gossiping than we do talking about the book :0
